Swords keep falling out of my deck, which given the tensions of the present, is not so surprising. The four of swords brings some respite. Like the figure here I am laying supine for the moment, letting others make some important decisions. It seems I really do have to be still and time spent drawing is replenishing depleted resources.

  1. Ahhhh, I can feel the woman in a state of total relaxation….

    1. 🙂 Hopefully such a state endures for some time.

  2. Ah she looks so relaxed, before the next round of challenges….

    1. I confess it is the next round of challenges that I need to prepare for. Some time laying supine will hopefully restore me to deal with these.

  3. My cat Blitzer does that- and then once he’s recharged himself those yellow eyes pop open and zooom.

It works for him…here’s to hoping.

    1. No wonder cats were so revered in ancient Egypt. They really do have their paws on the pulse. Will see how it goes.

  4. Gee, good post and image, Heather. So restful.

  5. What a great drawing – I took one look and laughed in recognition – I spent an hour or so in the same pose on my couch this afternoon.

  6. mmm rest, rest and more rest – can feel the tensions washing over you and away – great image.

  7. You look so relaxed. But within that relaxation I see the stirrings of a new and bright beginning for you. No one deserves more.

I love this drawing. Resting and relaxation is something I have been striving for lately even in the midst of chaos. I love that you mentioned letting others make important decisions. I am letting the Universe do that for me now and relinquishing control of the things I have no power over in this moment.

  9. I, too, have come up with the four of swords, and I have been thinking about how to integrate it into my journey. I can feel the peace and the rest in your drawing.
